The least boring subject to me

Imagen
Well, this is tough, because this is my final year in my career (film and TV) and all my classes in this semester was boring as death (sad face). Anyway, for write something good about any subject which I was enjoy study, I must to say: Composición musical or musical composition. This is an elective class for the Film and TV career dictated by Ignacio Pérez a film composer. It was a great class, since it began (the previous semester) I been interested in this subject, but for my schedule cap I do not attend to the classes, but this semester I finally take the class. I must to say, I learned about many things related to the world of film score, like history, composers and how understand the music in a film as another form of telling the story. Pay attention to classes it's really hard to me, especially this year, because there are so much boring subjects, I mean, theres a few which they get my attention, but M usical Composition it's so much interesting because it's a...

An Expert on my "field" who I admire? I must to say. John Williams

Imagen
Well in my field there are many great experts or rather, artists who I admire, but personally, and following with my presentation of weeks earlier, I have to say the movie composer, John Williams. John Williams is an American composer and orchestra director, who composed the soundtracks of many blockbusters films like: Jurassic Park, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Star Wars , and many others. He won the Oscars five times and had fifty nominations by the  Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It's one of the greatest composers of film score in the industry, he had composed music for more than a hundred movies at so far. And, well, I admire him since I was a little boy, I like his music very much because... I don't know exactly the reason I admire him, but the guy is a genius, it's so awesome! (fanboy detected). Anyway, I think I admire this guy because his music is part of my childhood. I remenber singing the Jurassic Park theme when I played whith my dinnosaurs as a chil...

My Favorite Festivity! :D

Imagen
Finally an easy post (I think). Well, my favorite festivity is Christmas which is celebrated on december 25th. This festivity celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, and it's very important because he is like a God for Christians and Catholic people. Anyway, when Jesus was born, three wise men brought gifts to him creating the origin of gifts and Santa Claus (also Coca Cola) in Christmas. The tree and the other things came from other cultures and pagan religions which blended with the Christian religion and ended up expanding all over the world. In my case I preffer to be in family, because it's one of few festivities that we are gathered. We dine turkey, and play a lot of games and sing christmas songs, and at the end of the night we open the presents. I like Christmas because for me it's a warm and peacefull festivity to enjoy with your family, it's kinda magical festivity, I don't know. PS. And I love opening gifts and eating turkey for dinner.

A Photograph I like? (sad face)

Imagen
Well, I don't have a photograph wich I like, I like more illustrations, draws, and thats stuff, but, I think I like "Death of a loyalist soldier" by Robert Capa. I don't know if I like it very well, but... Anyway, the picture is one of the most famous photographs of war journalism, and it was taken by Robert Capa in 1936, during the civil war of Spain. The picture was taken during the attack of the national troopers againt the republicans soldiers, capturing the precise moment when a loyalist soldier die by a head shoot. Immortalizing that moment. I think I like this picture because is a heavy image of the war in self. All we see the pictures of the holocaust and the horrors of many wars, but see the precise moment of a death in a war it's very shoocking, even for today. On this days, this picture it's on the eyes of many sceptics, because they believe it was a fake of Capa in favor of sell a better picture, and to me it's ok as well, because the...

My Favorite Movie?! (this is tough)

Imagen
This is one of the questions you never want to answer in life, because in my case I don´t have one but many. But, ok, I answered anyway. I think one of the  latest movies I liked very much was "Song of the Sea" I'm not so sure. But anyway, "Song of the sea" is an animated movie, created by the same animation studio (Cartoon Saloon) which brought "The book of Kells". Well it's an animated movie so there are no famous actors in it, but I can describe the characters: Ben and Saoirse, who are brothers and live with his dad in a lighthouse. The first one is a boy very impertinent and selfish in a certain way; the other one is a little girl who does not speak, and maintains a mysterious secret. The film tells the story of Ben a boy who lost his mother in the moment to she gave birth to his little sister. With the loss of his mother Ben and Connor (his dad) and the little Saoirse lived for some years in the lighthouse until the arrival of the grandma...

My Favorite Piece of Technology?

Imagen
To me this is a weird topic because I don't have a favorite piece of technology, to me all I have is irrelevant in my life (PS4, cellphone, PC), but if I had to choose one of them, I would choose my Smartphone, because it is the technology device which I spend more of my time with. It was a gift from Santa Claus (my parents) for Christmas of 2015. In that time I needed one because I was the only one in the family without a cellphone, and they need to contact me (allways 😩). And I have to say it was really awesome, I use it to see my mail, my favorite website, and with several app I can do anything (well, kinda), I use it all the time, from doing or seeing important things related to the university or even wasting my time on youtube or facebook or playing videogames. I like my smartphone in a certain way because it lets me have and use an entire apps to my day (news, things of university and my personal interests). I think my life without my phone would probably be the same, eve...

And in that time I wanted study Paleontology, like others fanboys of dinosaurs. But when I grow up I realized wath more likes to me it was the documentaries and film (off course, at today I love dinosaurs) in general. with his VFX and soundtrack and awesome stories. And seeing a making off of Alien vs. Predator I decide to study filmmaking. It was a long road to be here today, but I´m happy, or something like that. but now my goal is study animation, I like a lot draw and that stuff since when as a little skinnny boy. I hope to make it soon.
